Day 1: Flight to New York.
Arrive at the airport at least two hours before the scheduled departure time of your flight. Check-in, boarding and departure to New York. On arrival, after retrieving your luggage and clearing customs, you’ll make your own way to your hotel in Manhattan. To get used to the time difference, take advantage of the remainder of the day to start exploring the city.
Day 2-4: New York.
Three days to enjoy the “Big Apple” at your leisure. New York is divided into 5 boroughs: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx and Staten Island. The heart of New York is undoubtedly located in Manhattan. Central Park; Museum Mile; Broadway and its theatres; bustling Times Square; Grand Central Station and the National Library; glamorous 5th Avenue; the Empire State; Brooklyn Bridge; Wall Street and Ground Zero; and the Statue of Liberty. Although everything is spectacular in this city, there is no doubt that the views from Top of the Rock, in particular, will take your breath away (admission included).
Day 5: New York – Boston.
Pick up your hire car and start your tour. The first stop will be Boston, one of the oldest cities in the U.S. with more than 4 centuries of history and well-known for its famous universities. Night at your hotel. (Approx. 210 miles).
Day 6: Boston.
Quincy Market, City Hall, Boston Common and Public Garden, and the picturesque Beacon Street, among other places.
Day 7: Boston – Niagara.
You’ll continue your journey to the famous Niagara Falls. The long road trip today will be worth it for the opportunity to admire one of the most spectacular landscapes in the eastern United States, the natural border between the U.S. and Canada. Night at your hotel in Niagara. (Approx. 395 miles).
Day 8: Niagara.
Today, we recommend you take a boat trip on the Maid of the Mist, fly over the falls in a helicopter or explore Table Rock. You can then go over to the Canadian side to visit the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Day 9: Niagara – Washington DC.
Set off for Washington DC, the capital of the United States, which was founded in the eighteenth century, taking in on the way the state of Pennsylvania, famous for being home to the Amish. Night at your hotel (Approx. 430 miles).
Day 10: Washington DC.
The Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the U.S. Capitol Building, the Vietnam and the Korean War Veterans Memorials, Lafayette Park, the outside of the White House, the Smithsonian museum complex, the outside of the FBI building and Arlington Cemetery, where the graves of the Kennedy family can be found.
Day 11: Washington – Philadelphia – New York.
Head off to Philadelphia, the old capital before Washington DC. Visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed and the U.S. Constitution written. One of the places that you’ll want to take a photograph of is the steps of the Museum of Art, which were immortalised by the film Rocky. You’ll then head back to New York, where you’ll spend 12#
Day 13: Arrival.
Arrival at your home airport. End of trip.
